Scorpio Graphics Launches Redesigned Website

December 13th, 2010 by Kevin Mech

After nearly 5 years of remaining stagnant, ScorpioGraphics.com has finally been completely redesigned and updated with several new pages of content! This campaign, sporadically worked on since April 2010, is still far from complete, but the release of the new website interface is the largest milestone in this series of branding enhancements.

What's New?

The plethora of updates include the simplified categorization of portfolio works, now broken down into Identity, Print Design, Website Design, and Multimedia sections. The majority of the individual portfolio pieces feature the capability of zooming in to see additional details, along with an option for any Facebook user to "Like" the design ("Like" away, my friends!). All in all, the updates are obvious and need little to no explanation – after all, an expert in user interfaces should be able to create interfaces that require no explanation.

Scorpio Graphics remains owned and operated by one person (me – Kevin Mech), and I've expanded several sections to include additional details concerning my background in the About Me and Resume sections, as well as an updated breakdown of my current Capabilities. The Blog (or pseudo-Blog if you prefer) is a temporary section until a more permanent Blog can be established.

More To Come

The revised website is certainly one of the most important aspects of this rebranding campaign, however, there are still several tasks that remain including the creation of revised printed materials, a mobile version of this website, Twitter page updates, Facebook page maintenance, and some other internal hush-hush projects. The current plan is to continue to hammer out the remaining items during the start of 2011, with a target completion date of April/May.

For now, be sure to check out the new digs and let me know your thoughts and comments via Facebook or Twitter!
